new bags!

i'm a little late on posting these because i debuted these at the New Orleans Arts Market last week but i wanted to make sure i shared them online too!!

this is my latest fabric design, a collaboration with Zakem Art!  we photographed shotgun houses around the lower 9th ward and created this collage and then had the fabric made.  like all my other bags these are printed on 100% cotton and totally washable.

available exclusively from me in 8"x5" with or without the wristlet strap and 12"x8".  wristlets and large bags are $25 each and the 8"x5" is $18.

the other designs that i debuted this summer are still available in all the same sizes including this Canal Street print and....

this New Orleans vintage map print!

NEW!!! and exciting.....

previously i was collaborating with my boyfriend to print fabric...then I remembered Spoonflower! I've bought fabric from them before but have never used them for my own designs
so i decided to give it a try.
SOOOOO...here are the first zipper bags made from my new fabric! i had my designs printed on kona brand cotton and i pre-shrunk and lined them as usual. these are the first four designs I will be offering at upcoming shows and SOON from my etsy shop!
They measure 4"tall x 5.5"wide and by the way yes,
they are fabulous! $20 a piece.

more collage clutches!

i am having so much fun making these again...it makes me wonder why i stopped for awhile. oh yeah, that thing called time.
these are more time intensive for sure.  first i start with sorting fabrics from my GIANT scrap basket, then ironing the pile of potential pieces for that bag, picking the pieces and the order and THEN the actual sewing the scraps together.  then cut to size and sew it like my other bags. i did try new metal zippers on some of these which you can't really see in this pic. they were different to use but i think they are a cool option.  i'll see what people's reactions are this weekend on their first time out!
oh yeah, and the prices for these are $48 for the 3 bottom clutches
in the top pic and $60 for the top one in the pic
(it has hand embroidery on both sides) and for the two beer clutches due to the supa unique vintage fabric.
e-mail me if y'all are interested!
